Extraordinary expenses are a common cause of confl Extraordinary expenses are a common cause of conflict between co-parents. Conflict usually happens because the parents have never discussed and agreed to how they will handle them. A detailed, clear agreement can solve potential arguments before they happen.

Questions we consider in mediation:

❔ What are the extraordinary expenses we have now?
❔ What are the extraordinary expenses we expect to have?
❔ How will will share the cost?
❔ What happens if we disagree about an expense?
❔ When/how much will the children contribute to any of these costs?

You can start from the beginning, or use mediation to amend an existing agreement that may have little or no detail about how to arrange extraordinary expenses.
